“Mine to Magnet” Strategy
USA Rare Earth is building a vertically integrated, non-China rare earth supply chain spanning processing, metal-making, and magnet manufacturing to support the U.S. and its allies.
By integrating and connecting key stages of the rare earth value chain, from mining raw material feedstock to creating finished permanent magnets, our “mine-to magnet” strategy will help improve security, reliability, and long-term economics across key industries including semiconductors, aerospace and defense, health care and more.
LCM is a leading producer of rare earth metals and alloys and provides USA Rare Earth with established, commercial-scale metal-making and strip-casting capabilities outside China.
Round Top, in Sierra Blanca, Texas, is one of the largest known deposits of heavy rare earths and critical minerals in North America. We are developing Round Top to support domestic supply of elements including dysprosium (Dy) and terbium (Tb) over time.
USA Rare Earth is pleased to be collaborating with the U.S. government to secure, reshore and grow the domestic rare earth supply chain to benefit the U.S. and our allies. More details can be found here.
